Why clients choose Site Eye

Site Eye has filmed construction since 2002: more than 3,000 projects, with over 400 cameras on site now. We make our own camera systems and software, our own engineers install them, and we edit the films, so one team is responsible from the first survey to the final film.

A track record on landmark projects

Our first project was filming the refit of the Treasury. Since then we have filmed The Shard, London 2012, Crossrail, Thameslink, King’s Cross Station, One Hyde Park and Battersea Power Station, and we have been the official time-lapse provider for Crossrail, TfL and Thameslink. Beyond construction, we filmed two of the largest ships built in recent years, Allseas’ Pioneering Spirit and Shell’s Prelude, and have made clips for the BBC, Channel 4, Sky and the Discovery Channel.

What sets us apart

One team, start to finish

We survey the site, install the cameras, monitor and maintain them, move them as the build changes, remove them at the end and edit the films. You deal with one company and your site team has nothing to manage.

Our own cameras and software

Because we make both the hardware and the software, we can adapt to almost any brief. For one client we set the cameras to read local tide data and change the time-lapse settings each day to match high tide.

Safety on any site

Site Eye is a Constructionline Gold member. Our engineers are fully insured, hold CSCS cards and work under a safe system of work with RAMS for every task, from trackside to the top of The Shard. Training across the team includes SSSTS, IPAF, PASMA, NEBOSH, IOSH and tower rescue. Health and safety

Your images kept safe

  • All access is through a secure login over an encrypted connection.
  • Images are stored on our own servers in two separate UK locations, with RAID storage and a hardware clone updated every night.
  • If the 4G signal drops, cameras keep taking pictures and store them until the link returns.

Data security in full

Coverage across the UK and beyond

We have offices in Hebden Bridge and Brighton, engineers based around the country and engineers in London every weekday. We also work on projects in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Backed by the Survey Solutions Group

Site Eye joined the Survey Solutions Group in July 2026. The group runs sensor-based monitoring from 16 UK offices and holds ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 27001, so your cameras can sit alongside structural, environmental, rail and highway monitoring.
