Wimbledon

In January 2004, The All England Lawn Tennis Club unveiled the latest chapter in the long term plan for its jewel in the crown — the Centre Court.

The aim was to build a Court of the future offering a larger 15,000 capacity, more comfortable seats and a retractable roof over the court.

Site-Eye were appointed as the time lapse filming supplier, creating a memorable film of this historic project from several spectacular locations.

These high definition films were used by the club to chart the progress of the project, and also by the BBC who have featured the footage on their coverage of the Championships each year since the project began.

We were proud to see our footage on BBC1 and BBC HD channels over the summer, during the tense build up before the historic moment that the roof was closed for the first time during a competitive match.
