Construction/Industrial Time-Lapse

We have designed a bespoke, digital, HiDef camera system for our time-lapse work. This system is a multi-camera solution which gives very high quality results with a great deal of flexibility and data security. We would normally position between one and four cameras at good vantage points around the development.

Our system achieves the most exciting results possible as it allows the final film to be edited between several camera angles, rather than traditional time-lapse using only one camera from a fixed spot. When there isn't much happening from one particular view we can cut to a more interesting area of the site showing more activity relevant to the development at that stage.

All the cameras form a small, independent, wireless network. Each camera captures a high quality still image at a pre-determined interval and stores it on an internal hard drive within the camera unit. As a backup, this same image is sent, automatically, over the network to a second server in the Northern site office and to a third server at our Southern Office. This ensures that if any of the cameras are stolen or damaged their footage is not lost.

The images can be posted on a web page as soon as they are taken and also build up an 'Image Archive' which is accessible by the project management and marketing team via an easy to use web interface. This facility allows the team and client to keep track of the project using high quality, high resolution photographs.

MANAGED SERVICE
A fully managed service (see above). Full HiDef or Standard Def.

MANNED SERVICE
On shorter jobs we would advise a manned service. We send a camera and a camera operator to film your project if only a day or two in duration. Full HiDef or Standard Def.

SELF POWERED SERVICE
On jobs lasting between three days and two weeks we have developed a self powered time-lapse system. This system is monitored remotely by us, to make sure it is still running, every few hours. Full HiDef or Standard Def.

SUPER WIDE ANGLE CAMERA
For huge vistas or interiors where it would be difficult to get everything in shot with a normal camera, we have invented the super wide angle time-lapse camera. This camera also allows for panning around the final footage to give the illusion of camera panning. Full HiDef or Standard Def.

IP CAMERA
This is a new, low budget site monitoring and time-lapse service. IP camera based time-lapse clips are suitable for web use, presentations and in-house DVDs. Due to the inherent lower quality of the optics of these cameras, they are generally not suitable for broadcast and other very high quality applications. This system comes with the same Image Archive facility as the higher end cameras we offer. Standard Def.
